     High seats at a round table not especially comfortable for us for 3 hours - nowhere to put our feet. Good view. Great music. Nicki's speaking voice a little soft to hear at times. Band volume sometimes too loud and not balanced to support Nicki's expressive interpretation of songs.

     Great evening. Nicki Parrot and her band were brilliant

   Simply stunning!!!! A most memorable experience indeed…

   My view of the band was obscured by a pillar and I could only see the drummer.

       Excellent love this so much - one of my favourites !!

     Great venue. Food was great but expensive but then again what isn’t now a days!

       Love the variety of Jazz. Invariably high class entertainment in an excellent venue.

   Brilliant in all respects. One of our favourite artists. Always lots of energy and really engages with the audience.

   She is a pro, very enjoyable night.

   Nickie and her band were fab. A great night with a full house adding to the jazz club atmosphere. Dare I say it, best show this year.

   Great unique renditions of great songs. Couple this with the fact that in most seats you hear the instruments directly as opposed to through amplifiers this is a great venue. And the food is excellent

   It was ok, was not so impressed with the lead singer, to me Jazz is sensory and Rhythmic and that needs to be expressed through the band especially the lead. The band was amazing, the Saxophone 🎷 solos were awesome and the musicians obviously had a passion for their craft but were let down by the lead lacking that passion and she was reading the lyrics for most of the songs. Which was disappointing and distracting.

   Underwhelming. Robyn’s vocals were weak and did not project past the stage. Her voice was almost monotone. The bands musical structure was problematic for us as well. Start song, saxophone solo, electric piano solo, finish song. Boring. They tortured “heard it through the grapevine” . That’s when we left. To be fair, you have to visit some poor performances to hear the good ones. Looking forward to the next offering. PS… the meals were good.🤓

   Aaron West and his band were amazing, all super talented musicians. Aaron is an outstanding musician and artist great show .

   It was a great night with an eclectic range of genres including jazz, pop and country. Getting Kevin from the Koi Boys to sing a couple of songs was a real bonus. Well done to Aaron and the boys

   Absolutely fabulous. Jan is a brilliant pianist and great personality. Band was good too. Loved the washboard and the bass player was very good too.

   The band were enthusiastic and fun. Very entertaining.

   Enjoyed this show immensely - another awesome night !

   So entertaining, Excellent playlist and really accomplished musicians who had fun while playing.

   These five brilliant musos played everything from BB King to Miles Davis. If there has been a better show than this at the Hope Island Jazz Club - then I must have missed it! Staff and meals at the Blue Water Grill are always excellent.

   Great singer, good entertainment. Shame about the organiser, man in hat. He's a perfect example of how to put customers off with his interfering attitude

   Thoroughly enjoyed the performance. Choice of music & skill of presentation & musicianship first class.

   Too many people still talking during the performance vs listening to musicians like the organiser Ian requested numerous time throughout the evening along signage. Like the venue, food, drink, set up of tables, stage, lighting, service. Will return !!!!

   A great night of bosa nova. Enjoyed the ambience, and great service and food.

   Left half way through. Shocking chairs. SO uncomfortable. Show was mediocre.

   Phenomenal performance- will definitely come again. Blue Water Grill had excellent customer service and the food/drinks were amazing! Maybe skip dessert though!

      Music was far too repetitive and simply not entertaining enough. The service at the venue was terrific, drinks & food were good & reasonably priced

     Love flamenco and the were very good. It was a shame there was no female dancing but would love to see it again

   Great show….something different.

   Very entertaining, passionate and talented group. Would be great if they explained prior to each song what it’s about. We did feel the “mood or passion” from the performers - there was a story being told. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

   Our first time watching Flamenco live and we loved it !!! Amazing dancer and musicians. My whole family enjoyed it. Highly recommend it.

   Sorry, but did not enjoy. The guitarist was amazing, sadly the vocals ruined it in my opinion.

     Brilliant! The bar has been set very high now. A highly professional cabaret act. A huge and engaging personality in a small package.

   Entertaining. Great performance and great band too.

     The table service for food and drinks was also excellent and the staff so helpful and friendly

           Excellent What a night. We loved every little bit of the performance and the musical skills of all. Tell Martha her new flute sounded great. Ms Parrot on double bass and her terrific vocals..a bit of Doris Day, a switch to Ella Fitzgerald and Dionne Warwick...she certainly stamped her presence as did her final rendition...because she really is a 'WOMAN'. Steve on keyboard blew me away and what can I say about Paul on drums...let there be

   Highly enjoyable show. Such a variety of songs, well played. Beautiful vocals. The venue would benefit from a real piano, but the player was talented and a joy to hear.

 Loved it, fabulous musicians. The singer has a beautiful voice, so talented. 

     Adam was very entertaining.

   Enjoyed Mary's music and was looking forward to the 2nd half of her show - it was our 1st time there. Unfortunately, a woman collapsed and drew the attention away for an hour plus, so we left early.

   To steal a quote from Aldi - Mary was "good, different" she introduced each piece in her Irish brogue with a narrative about what triggered the lyrics and those her stories were very entertaining. Her strong voice was beautifully backed up by the excellent keyboard and double bass players. Sadly due to a medical incident in the audience there was a long interruption in the second half of her performance so we did not stay to see if she resumed. But still a great night. &#

   3 stars... the intimacy awesome... Mary just delightful as always.... just some announcements on what was going on would have been good.... thankfully I ignored staff advice and got a few more songs

   Loved Mary. She is fabulous.

   Good performer. We were very happy. Especially after the organisers and sound man increased the volume on Mary's mic in the second half. Instrumentals were clear and crisp. Band was tight. Excellent.

   Mary was great and would have liked to hear more of her repertoire, but the event was cut short.

   Loved our evening at Hope Island Jazz Club. An amazing night of music with the Shannon Marshall Soul Trio. Both as wonderful to listen to as to watch!

   Wonderful music. Very entertaining.

   Exquisite musicianship spoilt a little in the first session by some ignorant background chatter but that really didn't spoil the night. Your appeal to the audience for the second session really worked. We just need to get the bar and waiter staff on board now! As an ex-trumpet player, I am in awe of Roberto, but the lead guitarist was the technically brilliant star ( although his volume could have been a little higher to balance the rhythm guitarist.)

  The Gypsy Cats were brilliant! Food and service - brilliant. Downfall was what was mentioned above. It is a great venue and congratulations on doing what you are doing. Your passion is evident and it is so good to see venues do what you do. Feedback above is done as a way of suggesting improvements so there is no need to remind people to be 'behave' because they rivetted and entertained from the start.

   We like likevvmore up best jazz and more instruments best. Lovely venue however.

   My Friends and I had a fabulous time - WOW What a talent in the Ingrid James Quartet - We will be back - Great Music -Great Venue - Great Food & Great Company - What more could you want Thank You 💥🌈🍸💃🎼💥
