Hope Island Jazz and Cabaret presents "Hot Jazz" with THE GYPSY CATS.
The Gypsy Cats have been delighting audiences since 2016, performing at The Brisbane City Hall, Woodford, Island Vibe, Yonder, Brisbane Festival and OzManouche Festival. Their live shows have grown increasingly popular amongst the local Balboa and Lindy Hop dancing community, and their pre-covid residency, the 'Gypsy Jam’ was renowned for featuring guest appearances by the finest musicians in the scene. With their own take on the manouche genre and a distinctive sound, the Gypsy Cats have built an eclectic repertoire of originals and standards, up-tempo swing, gypsy bossa, traditional jazz ballads and french waltz.
