"She is no wallflower; this is one little pocket rocket on legs".

Now calling the Gold Coast home, Aurora MacKrill slid out of a Melbourne womb entertaining.
She may be little, but she captures an entire audience in the palm of her hand with her fun and lively version of Liza Minnelli’s 1972 TV concert, Liza with a ‘Z’.
Every performance is different, and the tone of each show is a reflection of the audiences feed. Yes, she has been known to cross the line but always in the best possible taste.
Aurora has been singing and strutting the boards for a good 20 years, performing throughout Australia and California, singing jazz standards, Shirley Bassey hits, Liza Minnelli tunes and at times, to some of Hollywood’s ‘A’ list of people. Also, during her California years, she discovered the highs of performing at the Comedy Store, which started the evolutionary process that continues today.
Never one to take herself too seriously, Aurora’s takes delight in engaging the audience to make an interactive and entertaining evening of …Cabaret

She is absolutely thrilled to be backed by highly accomplished, brother and sister Steve Russell on keys and Helen Russell on bass as well as the fabulous Rodney Ford on drums.

A night you will not want to miss! Cabaret at its best.

“Aurora MacKrill has an outstanding vocal and visual resemblance to the multi-award-winning Minnelli. Aurora’s energy is infectious. See the audience touched, literally, by her up close and personal cabaret style.”- Country Arts

“Aurora sparkles, not only because she looks terrific, her costumes are brilliant and colourful with sequins picking up the light, but because of her vivacious and outgoing personality.”- Australian Stage Adelaide Review

“…That’s when Aurora makes her first real audience contact and from then on, she has us in her hands.”

“It’s the powerful voice, the dancing and the style that is so winning.”

‘The audience are right in so vociferously asking her to come back.”- Australian
